Monthly Meetings: Third Tuesday of the Month
7.00pm  Kandanga Railway Station

Markets – Each Wednesday & Sunday.  10.00am to 12.00noon at the historic Kandanga Railway Station.  Watch the Mary Valley Rattler puff into our Station for a 30min stopover, observe and enjoy the re-conditioned motors, owned and marketsdisplayed by Mr Lex Mackay.
Tea, Coffee, Home Cooking, Jams, Pickles, Spreads, Kandanga Souvenirs, Crafts & Knick-knacks with the Kandanga State School Students supplying your thirst needs with Home Made Lemonade.  Fresh fruit with Ice cream is also a popular choice.
Inside the Station Building, you can take a walk down memory lane with the condensed history of Kandanga’s past on display, featuring the Timber and Pineapple Industries, Floods, Railways on the Mary  Valley Line, Special Events, Sporting Identities and brief view of some of the local residents. A Tourist Information display is also available to visitors.

Garage Sale – First Saturday of each Month at the Kandanga Station Old Fruitgrowers Building.

Bush Dance – An Annual Event – Music, Dancing & Entertainment. -  Saturday April 8th  2006  at 7.00pm.   The Venue is an old Sawmill just out of Town beside Kandanga Creek.  It’s fully licensed, so, sorry – no BYO.  There are overnight Camping facilities included in the entry fee, so follow the signs from Town.  Enquiries 0754 843696 – 0754 843382.  See you there!!

scarecrowOur Scarecrow Festival is staged each year in towns throughout the Mary Valley, and these feature a spectacular display of  humorous Scarecrows

“Mary Wood” We have Woodworking classes for all ages on the Third Saturday of each Month at the Kandanga Station Old Fruitgrowers Building.  Come along and play with Wood
